WoW or GW
you can all guess what Im asking when I post a thread title like this. I might want to go and play WoW, but im not sure... In what way is Guild Wars better than World of Warcraft, instead of just being free? I also know the graphics in this game tottaly rule, I dont dare to disagree (however i like cartoony gfx). I like the freedom and pk' ing with 50 guild members... I really miss that in this game. I fell in love with Warcraft at the release of Warcraft 2, when I first heard of it, and played it...
Neway what is better in your opinion and why? |

WoW overall is better but GW offers a nice break away when it gets boring. I played WoW got bored came and played GW got all the crap won a HoH now i'm back on WoW enjoying it like i did when it was 1st out.

a "meh" kind of game? why is that? I asked for reasons not just, its not cool, or anything like that. I didnt leave yet, and if you can convince me to stay, I will. Even if I buy WoW, i might not allways be able to play, and if i know i'll be gone for a week, i think its a shame to pay for that period of time so i will play guild wars

Well, I'm not one to start up a flame post with the negatives of a game, so I'll just say, since playing from the release till about a month or so ago, the game got extreamly dull, boring, and the massive amount of kiddies made it no fun to play anymore with all the constant whining on their forums and in game. Then again, I played on a PvP server, so it might be a little different if you went for a PvE server. *Shrugs*
Heck, the only way to play IMHO, is PvE, you basically need to grind your levels out if you don't get a decent group for quests. PvP = screwed most of the time for the solo players like myself. Hit level 60 for my mage, then I was gone. Tired of dying all the time.

I wont have to bother about being alone in pvp so dying all the time. I have some friends there (connected in one guild) who would all be happy to help me
. I really think ima buy it.
